Are You Ready to Ryde?

One of the country’s hottest new fitness concepts is coming to Oxford!  PureRyde premiere Cycling and Pilates Studio will open its doors to the Oxford community on February 3, 2014.  The specialty spin studio caters to fitness conscious individuals looking for an intense work out, intertwining enthusiastic, high energy instruction with hard-core, full body training.  The sessions are designed to blast calories while sculpting legs, arms and core.  RealRyder®  fitness bikes utilize cutting edge core technology, providing a “build-and-burn” cycling experience that burns an average of 20 percent more calories than stationary bikes commonly used in other facilities.  PureRyde also features a unique Pilates workout designed by PureRyde founders Laura Cronberger and Kelle Ilitch to bring energetic music and unique choreography together to create a dynamic and athletic Pilates workout.

PureRyde is being brought to Oxford by real estate developer/investor and Oxford resident, Blake Tartt III.  Tartt noted that “PureRyde is known for personalizing the workout process, engaging with individual clients and ensuring that all aspects of the workout are customized to exceed individual expectations.”  He went on to say, “once Ryders are set up, the jams come on and you find yourself motivated by positive instruction and energizing beats.”  Music plays a key role in the choreography and creation of the studio’s energy.  Ryders become immersed in the PureRyde experience and can check out their favorite class jams via Pure Tunes on the PureRyde website.  “The pilates and cycling classes engage all of the senses in the total fitness experience, “ Tartt said. “I’ve been looking for months to find just the right fitness experience to bring to Oxford, one that will attract both the students and the community alike.”

PureRyde is equally passionate about enhancing the community that supports them, offering local products, including local juice and protein bar makers as well as locally crafted retail options.  PureRyde in Oxford will include a shop with workout clothing and supplies from the nation’s leading fitness retailers.  PureRyde will also be an active part of the Oxford community, hosting regular events for clients to “sweat it out for a cause.”  Not a week will go by without PureRyde fitness professionals engaging the community in educational and motivational programs.

PureRyde will be located at 319 N. Lamar, Ste. 102 with ample convenient parking.  For further information contact Greg Stackhouse at 713.523.2929 or
